Too much to lose

If you can’t offer a viable solution, I don’t think you should complain about a matter. And if you can’t document discrepancies that are legitimate concerns, maybe your complaints are personal agendas. There are too many concerns to be specific in a short letter, but be sure they are all legitimate and can destroy the America we love and cherish. History documents my fears.
Most of the CHANGES we are facing today have already been tried, and most have failed miserably. The events shown on television media the past few months portray America in a dilemma that is unprecedented. The viciousness that is being shown by the unAmerican crowd is almost unbelievable. Can you believe you would be called a mob for expressing legitimate concerns in town hall meetings? Can you believe that they are asking citizens to forward e-mails that may be unflattering to certain public officials to the White House? Can you believe they are trying to pass laws that undermine the American Way so fast that they don’t have time to read the bills and debate them?
The economy is in a downward spiral. Four years ago we had a robust economy. The liberals in Congress started attacking free enterprise at its very foundation. It couldn’t survive; the banks started failing.
With the banks failing, money got hard to get for legitimate businesses. With no money to operate, businesses started failing, people stopped buying goods; and as a result, jobs were lost. Unemployment is approaching 10 percent and is going higher. Now those in charge want to raise taxes and take what you have left. Not only that, they want to take over one of the most precious rights you have, your personal health care. Do you think they will stop there? Not on your life.
Think about this: Our President and his advisers, czars I think he calls them, are not businesspeople. They have never produced anything; they are organizers and activists. America, we need to wake up. Listen to what these people are saying; you will find out what they are thinking.
Why are people all over the world wanting to come to America? Freedom and opportunity. I don’t see anyone wanting to leave here and go elsewhere yet. By the way, there are already countries that are just like what they are trying to make America. Why don’t they just go there and leave America alone? I love the American Way!
Back to solutions, the Holy Word has the answers to all of our problems, especially the spiritual and moral ones. Read it. The country’s other problems would fix themselves like they always have if we would just go back and follow the Constitution our founding fathers gave us 233 years ago. There might be some that will say that I am just crying wolf — Well, let’s say they are right and I am wrong. What have we got to lose? But what if I’m right and they are wrong, then what have we got to lose? I say we have too much to lose. Unadulterated history says these concerns are legitimate.
SOLUTIONS, NOT REVOLUTION.

Our Christian Heritage

Contrary to President Obama’s statement, “We are not a Christian nation,” the opposite is true.

In 1787, two years before the United States Constitution was ratified, the Northwest Ordinance was enacted, which set up the basic framework of the American Territorial System and established the principle of admitting new states on equal terms with the original thirteen colonies. The ordinance embraced our nation’s Christian heritage, stating in Article III, “Religion, morality and knowledge being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged.” The Northwest Ordinance remains a part of the Constitution of the 50 states.

Everything that has made our country unique was soundly established by our Founding Fathers on Judeo-Christian values inspired by Holy Scripture and the Ten Commandments. The vast majority of the 204 Founding Fathers who framed the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the United States Constitution were Episcopalian/Anglican, Congregationalists, Presbyterian and Catholic — many of whom were active preachers and reverends of the Holy Gospel.

“As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and His religion as He left them to us, is the best the world ever saw or is likely to see.” (Benjamin Franklin)

In the Book of Judges when the children of Israel turned away from God, they were an easy prey to any foe, but when they returned to God they recovered the unity that was essential to success and survival. It was faith that made Israel a great nation, and it was faith in our Judeo-Christian principles that made America a great nation.

We are at peril if we deny the Christian heritage of our American history.
